Sales Manager

Description

The Sales Manager will drive development and execution of a commercialization strategy for a large automotive, heavy truck and consumer products tooling solutions provider. The Sales Manager will also lead the project managers to grow revenue through the company’s core strengths of on time delivery and quality tooling for a multitude of customers. The Sales Manager will take a North America perspective on market opportunities and lead in the assessment and prioritization of current tooling segments as well as other potential tooling market segments for revenue growth, through direct sales and cross selling.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership: Deliver strategic leadership for defining the commercial path to growth and profitability of the company and the establishment of an effective growth process and infrastructure. Develop collaborative working relationships within the organization in pursuit of the of the company’s revenue growth goals:
  • Alignment of the sales team to geographies, products, services, or segments.
  • Enablement of the sales organization utilizing Sales Force as the TTG CRM system.
  • Sales leadership development and structure to support the project managers.
  • Management of the sales funnel (opportunities, quotes and awards)
  • Communication of revenue forecast to President and CCO.
  • Business Development: Develop a strategy for enterprise-wide business development opportunities.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing AND executing successful commercialization strategies
  • Ability to think creatively and develop non-traditional solutions to complex business challenges
